Worship
Covenant Renewal Worship
When we gather for worship on the Lord's Day, we are renewing our Covenant with God. The gathering is the time when we ascend into the presence of God through His Spirit. In order to be accepted in his sight, we must do this according to the pattern of worship prescribed by God in Scripture.
This is summarized in five steps:
- Call
- Confession
- Consecration
- Communion
- Commission

We are part of the Communion of Reformed Evangelical Churches (CREC), a growing body of congregations spanning much of the world, including the United States, Canada, Japan, Russia, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Central Europe and Southern Asia.
These congregations reflect the catholicity of the Reformed tradition. The CREC presently has 160+ churches and parishes spread across North America, Europe, Asia and South America.

Frequently Asked Questions
What time are your services?
We gather for worship every Sunday at 10:30 AM at Royalton Town Hall (6052 Royalton Rd, Braham, MN 55006). We also have a fellowship meal on the 1st and 3rd Sundays immediately after the service. We also have all ages Sunday School at 9am on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Sundays of each month.
What should I expect when I visit?
Our worship follows a liturgical pattern of Covenant Renewal: Call, Confession, Consecration, Communion, and Commission. You can expect congregational singing of Psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, responsive readings, reciting of creeds, expository preaching, prayer, and the Lord's Supper. Children are welcome and included in our worship services.
Is there a dress code?
We do not have a dress code, and our people wear everything from jeans to suits and dresses. While we aim to show that corporate worship of our Triune God is important by what we wear, it is never meant to be a hindrance to worship.
Do you have programs for children?
We believe in intergenerational worship—children are included in our worship services alongside their families. The biblical pattern is to include children in all of life, including worship and the sacraments. While little ones can be challenging at times, God welcomes them in his family (Mk.10:14-15). Our meeting space has plenty of room for an infant or child who needs more attention or help in the service.
Who can take communion?
We welcome all baptized covenant members to the Lord's Table, including young children. We celebrate communion every Sunday as an integral part of our covenant renewal worship, using wine for the cup.
What other ministries do you have?
We have a monthly Psalm sing, as well as men's and women's monthly gatherings. We also have Sunday School. In general, we are intentionally light on programming. We like to devote our time and energy to the Lord's Day gathering and then encourage our people to fulfill their duties during the week in their families, vocation, and neighborhoods.
