- • Expository Preaching: We preach through books of the Bible, exploring their meaning and application.
- • Congregational Singing: We sing hymns and spiritual songs that reflect our Reformed theology.
- • Prayer and the Sacraments: We practice the historic rhythm of Christian worship.
- • Friendly Community: Come as you are - we welcome visitors and encourage you to stay for fellowship afterward.
Our Approach to Worship
Reverence and Joy
We believe worship should balance reverence and joy. While we approach God with appropriate solemnity and fear, we also celebrate with gladness the grace He has shown us in Christ.
Trinitarian Focus
Our worship is Trinitarian - we worship God the Father through the Son by the Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ is central to all we do.
Word and Sacrament
We practice the historic pattern of worship centered on the Word preached and the Sacraments administered - Baptism and the Lord's Supper.
Community Life
Worship is not a private experience but something we do together as God's covenant people. Community is essential to our faith.
Your First Visit
Whether you're a long-time Christian or just curious about the faith, we'd love to have you join us! Here's what we recommend:
- Arrive a few minutes early to find parking and greet our ushers. They're happy to answer questions or show you around.
- Sit anywhere you're comfortable. There's no reserved seating, so choose a spot where you can see and hear well.
- Participate as you feel led. You're welcome to stand, sit, kneel, or remain seated during various parts of the service.
- Sing along with the hymns if you know them, or simply listen. A hymnal will be provided.
- Stay for fellowship afterward if you'd like. We usually gather for refreshments and conversation.
If you have questions or would like to speak with one of our pastors, just ask! We're here to help you feel welcome and to answer any questions about our faith and practice.
